The Ultra Premium Carmen Legacy range achieved high ratings, with Carmen Gold 2022 standing out as the winery’s flagship Cabernet Sauvignon, earning 94 points for its “contemporary style.”
The elegant and classic Cabernet Sauvignon from the first winery from Chile, Carmen Gold, has its roots in the Maipo Valley vineyards, representing the finest expression of its variety. It displays “a garnet hue with a black murky sheen”, which are highlighted by “aromas of red currant and mint, accompanied by hints of herbs, balsamic and oak. Rich, bold and juicy on the palate, it is supported by a pristine oaky structure, lingering with a balsamic-graphite flavor”, detailed the publication.
Carmen Delanz Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 and Carmen Delanz Carménère 2022, both high-end wines reflecting the identity of the Maipo Valley and Apalta Valley, respectively, received 93 points.
