New York became the epicenter of the wine world during the first week of June, hosting exclusive events for the world’s finest wineries.
One such event was Great Wines of the World 2024, organized by renowned wine critic, James Suckling. This gathering brought together prominent wineries and winemakers to present and taste a selection of internationally top-rated wines. Viña Carmen featured a stand where they showcased their icon wine, Carmen Gold 2021, along with two wines from Carmen Legacy: Carmen Delanz Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 and Carmen Delanz Carménère 2021, a reinterpretation of the country’s most important terroirs.
Additionally, Ana María Cumsille, Chief Winemaker of Viña Carmen, was invited to the closing event of Bar Terroir, coordinated by Wines of Chile and renowned sommelier Paul Grieco, which began in Chile with a pop-up at Bar El Toro. During the event, videos capturing the essence of this experience were shown, highlighting the remarkable richness and diversity of wines produced from Chilean soils.
