Viña Carmen received praise from renowned Master of Wine and wine journalist Tim Atkin, for the quality and excellence of its wines. A total of six labels from the winery’s Ultra Premium range, Carmen Legacy, stood out in his latest report with over 92 points.
Carmen DO Florillón #6 scored 95 points, a Semillón wine aged under a flower veil. This white is part of the DO line, which aims to enhance the union between wineries and producers across Chile, creating limited editions with traditions and techniques passed down through generations.
The icon wine of the winery, Carmen Gold 2021, received a rating of 94 points, standing out as the finest expression of Cabernet Sauvignon, resulting in a classic and elegant wine. The same score was given to Carmen Delanz Cabernet Sauvignon 2022, a persistent and intense red recognized for its delightful elegance.
Carmen Delanz Carménère 2022 and Carmen DO Matorral Chileno 2022 followed these labels with 93 points, along with Carmen DO Quijada Semillón 2020, which closed with 92 points.
